Peace Church will present a concert that will sure to please all generations on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at 3 p.m.  This is The Gypsie Chicks first appearance at Peace Church and we are sure you will love their performance. The concert is free to the public. No reservations are required; however, seating is limited to 225 people.

The Gypsie Chicks is a group that features Marilyn Topolniki (accordion), Danielle Houser (flute) and Eileen Kozloff (piano). Their exciting repertoire ranges from the early 1600’s to present day. They will present a mix of English Country Dance music along with contemporary waltzes, and richly flavored international music. The three women have played together for many years as part of the Cheshire Gypsy’s for the English Country Dance series at Locust Lane. Individually, they play in a variety of other band configurations.

Peace Church is a 208 year old limestone sanctuary located on the corner of St. John’s Church and Trindle Roads near Camp Hill. It is maintained as a museum by the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission and is open on Sunday Afternoons from June through September for free tours and cultural events. Parking is available in the office lot directly across St. John’s Church Road; handicapped parking is available behind the Resource Center (formerly the Gift Shop).
