PEACE CHURCH

Peace Church will present a concert that will sure
to please all generations on Sunday, August 19, 2007
at 3 p.m. This is The Gypsie Chicks
first appearance at Peace Church and we are sure you will love their
performance. The concert is free to
the public. No reservations are required; however, seating
is limited to 225 people.
The Gypsie
Chicks is a group that features Marilyn
Topolniki (accordion), Danielle Houser (flute) and Eileen
Kozloff (piano). Their exciting repertoire ranges from the
early 1600’s to present day. They will present a mix of
English Country Dance music along with contemporary waltzes,
and richly flavored international music. The three women
have played together for many years as part of the Cheshire
Gypsy’s for the English Country Dance series at
Locust
Lane. Individually,
they play in a variety of other band
configurations.
Peace
Church
is a 208
year old limestone sanctuary located on the corner of
St.
John’s Church
and
Trindle Roads near Camp Hill. It is maintained as a museum
by the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission and is
open on Sunday Afternoons from June through September for
free tours and cultural events. Parking is available in the
office lot directly across St. John’s Church
Road; handicapped parking
is available behind the Resource
Center
(formerly
