Music
While the
selection of music rests solely with the bride, the Peace
Church Organ, which was built in 1807 by Conrad Doll,
creates the perfect setting and atmosphere of
HistoricPeaceChurch. Music from the
17th, 18th and 19th century sounds the best on the
organ. Modern music
arrangements may be difficult, if not impossible, to
play.
A list of qualified
organists is available upon request.
Amplification
systems are not permitted without prior
approval.
All music practice
must be done at the wedding rehearsal or the hour prior
to the wedding.
Special permission to
practice on Sundays from 4-5pm may be given upon
request.
