BARBERSHOP QUARTET

will present a
free concert on Sunday July 22,
2007 at
3
p.m. No reservations are
required; however, seating is limited to 225
people.
Scheduled to perform is
“The Susquehanna Four” a men’s senior barbershop quartet
. The group features
Dr. John Goedecke, Lou Reda, Paul Haubert, and Rev. Richard
Hadfield. The group has over 100 years experience and performs a
cappella harmony. They are the only barber shop quartet to sing for
the Mayor of Harrisburg and Governor Ed Rendell.
The concert will feature
old time and new harmonies, including such old time favorites as
“Zippity Doo Da”,
“Sunshine Nelly”, and Coney Island Baby to name just a few. It will
be a mixture of music, all American humor and good old fashion fun.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear a fantastic
quartet.
Peace Church
is a
209 year old limestone sanctuary located on the corner of
St.
John’s Church
and
Trindle Roads near Camp Hill. It is maintained as a museum by the
Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission and is open on Sunday
Afternoons from June through September for free tours and cultural
events. Parking is available in the office lot directly
across St.
John’s Church Road;
handicapped parking is available behind the
Resource Center
(formerly
