Woodwind Trio to Give Free Concert

 


The Cumberland Woodwind Trio will give a free concert at Historic Peace Church on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 3 p.m. The program titled “A Grand Opera Sampler” will feature familiar arias from Carmen, Rigoletto, Traviata, La Boheme, Aida, and Don Giovani.


Members of the Cumberland Woodwind Trio include: Beth Greenberg, clarinet; Craig Jurgensen, oboe; and Cynthia Reinecker, bassoon. Clarinetist Greenberg has an associate’s degree in music from the College of St. Benedict. Jurgensen studied oboe with Anita Brandon and has played with the West Shore Symphony and the Carlisle Town Band. Bassoonist Reinecker performed with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra.


Peace Church is a preserved historic site administered by the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission and is located on the corner of St. Johns Church and Trindle Roads near Camp Hill. Free parking is available in the office lot directly across St. Johns Church Road; handicapped access is available behind the Resource Center (formerly the Gift Shop).
