PERFORMANCE
The Egerlander
German Band will play authentic marches, polkas, and
waltzes in a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday June 29, 2008 in Historic Peace Church, Hampden
Twp.
Admission is free. No tickets or
reservations are necessary. Seating at the church, at
Trindle and St. John’s Church Roads, is limited to about 225

The band was formed more than 30 years ago
by Andres Brant, a German immigrant. He traveled to Germany
to obtain authentic native music and arrangements. The
Egerlander Band is directed by James Messner of
Mechanicsburg but still uses the original Brant
arrangements.
One of the church’s annual performers, you
don’t want to miss this rousing
performance.
